RFP: energy audits, energy efficiency upgrades and/or weatherization
The City and County of Denver through the Denver Office of Strategic Partnerships at the Department of Human Services (DDHS) is seeking proposals from qualified interested organizations and agencies to provide energy audits, energy efficiency upgrades and/or weatherization to low-income homeowners and renters within the City and County of Denver. Projects may address either single family or multi-family residences. Proposals must include a plan to educate residents about energy efficiency behaviors and the role they play in ensuring that energy efficiency measures perform. Parties interested in submitting a proposal with qualifications to provide such services are required to follow the recommended guidelines and instructions contained in this Request for Proposal ("RFP").
Services by the selected proposer are to commence on January 1, 2011 and continue through December 31, 2011, with the potential to extend the contract for two (2) additional one-year terms, contingent upon funding availability, contractor performance, and local priorities.
The RFP packet may be obtained on or after 8/16/2010 by visiting "Bidding Opportunities" at: http://denvergov.org/Contracting_Services/ for an electronic download of the RFP packet. If you are unable to download the RFP packet please contact Contracting Services at 720.944.2233 in order to pick up a RFP packet at Denver Department of Human Services during the hours of 9:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M., MST, Monday through Friday.

Heads Up: RFP Release for Residential Energy Efficiency Work
Denver Office of Strategic Partnerships (DOSP) will be releasing a request for proposal for residential energy efficiency work in 2011 on August 18, 2010, including energy audits, audits, energy efficiency measures, and weatherization upgrades. Export Development Grant
Assistance for Colorado Exporters to Increase International Sales
The Colorado International Trade Office (ITO) has launched an export development grant program with the mission of increasing Colorado companies’ ability to export their products and services to global markets.
Grant award: Grantees will receive between $500-2,000 to apply towards travel expenses, trade show exhibition or attendance, business match-making services with potential buyers, distributors and/or sales agents, and/or other direct expenses related to developing a new target market for exports.
Who may apply: The grant is open to companies of all industry sectors, including services, with the exception of agricultural commodities and food products. Applicants should be Colorado companies with 200 or fewer employees. Grantees may apply the award to a new target market of their choosing, and should be export-ready.
